A lip gloss tube has to show the shade and survive filling, freight and a handbag. Specify material, applicator and decoration as one decision.
Material
Clear and frosted resins are the usual starting points. Recycled PET is possible on selected programs when clarity still meets the brief. Say if the formula is a gloss, oil or liquid lip, because contact and viscosity change the wand and wiper.
Applicator
Doe-foot wands are common, not universal. Describe the dose you want. EHON checks neck, wiper and wand together so the applicator you approved is the one that ships.
Decoration
Print and hot stamp must leave enough of the tube clear if the color of the bulk is the point. Full spray turns it into an opaque story. Both are valid. They are not the same product.
Sampling should include the decorated tube, not a plain bottle plus a separate artwork PDF. That is the approval EHON uses before production.
